Reading Reflection the Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users
- What was the general theme or argument of the book?
- A. By offering greater than 100 practical tips, tips, and insights, the authors educate readers from the ground up how to create focused, compelling shows at the most famous social media platforms. They teach you a way to construct a foundation, construct digital assets, optimize your profile, attract more fans, and effectively combine social media and blogs.
- How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003?
- Using social media to build up company and product popularity. Especially pay attention to what we can say on social media so that it can attract customers. Also the same as what we learned from ENT 3003, we need to build up our network and the popularity of our product. We should think about how we can let our target customers pay their cash to us. The rule is using social media.
- If you had to design an exercise for this class, based on the book you read, what would that exercise involve?
- Like doing a weekly assignment. In the assignment, let students imagine they are the CPO and think about how they can use social media to open the market.
- What was your biggest surprise or 'aha' moment when reading the book? In other words, what did you learn that differed most from your expectations?
- This book publishes in 2017 which is three years ago from now. It’s still useful right now. From this book, I think rule #46. Stay Positive is very surprised to me. “…winning the war for class and credibility is more important than winning the battle with one commenter”.
Hey Don,
ReplyDeleteI can tell that you spent time reading this book and gained some valuable information on what it takes to market via social media. I think you made a nice connection with what we are learning in this class with what you learned while reading the book. This sounds like a good book where you could learn a lot of relevant information ab out marketing in the modern era.
Hi Don,
ReplyDeleteI like your choice in book, I chose the same one. Reading through your post I specifically liked your idea for an activity to do in class. My idea was to have students exchange social media accounts and see what they could learn about each other through them. I think your activity takes another look at a similar idea which is great. I also like what you mentioned about using social media as a marketing tool.
